Van’s Creamery was once a cornerstone of downtown Coeur d’Alene.
What began as the Coeur d’Alene Creamery in 1918 grew into Van’s Creamery, serving North Idaho with fresh milk, butter, ice cream, and other dairy staples for decades. Their Garden Avenue location was the heart of the operation, where generations of locals picked up products and made memories.
They would bring cream containers by boat delivery on lake Cda.
Long before national brands filled grocery shelves, Van’s represented hometown quality and community pride. If you grew up in North Idaho, there’s a good chance you remember Van’s—and maybe even their famous holiday ice cream treats.
